2018 El Dorado County Estate Pinot Noir

$39.00

2018 Findleton El Dorado Pinot noir, Estate Grown

Cooler weather, chalky volcanic soils, and the creek-side location of "Kevin's Vineyard" make for a distinctly Burgundian Style Pinot noir.  Our 2018 Pinot was aged in 25% new French oak for 9 months and left on the lees.  Weekly stirring increased body and resulted in a velvety mouth feel, intense black cherry mid-palette, and a long lingering finish.  As always, our Pinot is unfined and unfiltered to preserve the delicate nature of this varietal.  The winemaker suggests pairing the Pinot noir with holiday favorites like smoked ham, seasoned turkey, and prime rib.  Cheers!

Bottle Price: $39                                       Case Price: $468
