2017 Alicante Bouschet
2017 Alicante Bouschet
Our Alicante Bouschet grapes come from Cooper Vineyards in Amador County. This varietal is full of history and tells the story of careful propagations, prohibition & communion. It is a “teinturier” grape which in French means dye - and for us it means it is an uncommon red fleshed grape which gives the wine a dark inky color and robust, complex flavors. It is a full bodied velvety vixen perfectly balanced and extremely expressive showing black cherry, dark chocolate and an earthy sultriness.
Accolades: Gold Medal El Dorado Wine Competition
